Bernie Reeby
After a full service career in the Army, I decided to change direction and take up a further challenge in the world of financial services. Having initially trained with a Life Office and continued through the banking system advising clients, I now operate my own practice, looking after many valued clients. Appreciating the trust they place into me to achieve their objectives is not taken lightly and is an ever-increasing challenge in today’s world, and one I enjoy rising to.
It’s not all about fees. Many of the clients I have now were originally from an informal, free chat over a cup of tea where some good old fashioned advice steered them in the right direction. Everyone, irrespective of their circumstances, will need advice at some time in their life, so I have no minimum case criteria.
I specialise in the pre and post retirement market, including pension planning, wealth management, later life advice and estate planning (including Wills, Trusts and Lasting Powers of Attorney). The latter often overlaps with much of the financial advice I provide.
If I am not on the case, I’m on my boat sailing off somewhere or riding my motorcycle, often raising money for charities which I am keen to support, such as the Devon/Cornwall Air Ambulance.
